Festival!   Almost everybody will be participating! Some in San Antonio, others in Kerrville.  Categories include:  piano solo,  patriotic & folk,  hymn,  piano duo,  piano duet, ensemble!

Many famous composers of music for the piano were born during autumn and winter.  Their histories are easy to find on the internet.  Look up the composers of your favorite piano pieces and write me an email article about them! The winning article will be posted on my website!

Hint:  Composers born in September  include Pachelbel,  J.C. Bach,  Clara Schuman, Dvorak,  Shostakovich and many more!

Question!  How will music be part of your plans for this year?

The first week of May is National Music Week -- Let's all find a way to include special music activities during that week!  Our Spring Recital usually kicks off the celebration!
